• Slippery shoes the less grip the better. If you don't have any just come anyway and let us know.

• Comfortable clothes that you can move and groove in. 

• We have water and cups but feel free to bring your own bottle

• A willingness to learn and communicate with others

Your first class is free, after that its $5 a class, $3 for students

Dayton Vintage Dance is a Social dance class. What that means for you is that you are welcome to keep your dance partner but the class is centered around social dancing and uses partner rotation. Be prepared to dance with everyone at class unless you speak up.

Previous experience is welcome but certainly not required. We have many levels of dancers at class.

7:45 is the ideal time for you to set your bag down, sign our liability waiver and introduce yourself

You should expect to encounter an hour of class focusing on one style of dance(that changes monthly), one hour of free dance (including all styles we teach) and a small socializing time at the end of the night
